W. Channing Harrison was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with strong family ties to Pensacola, Florida, and Washington, D.C. After graduating from Breck Preparatory School, he attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Upon graduation, Channing began his career with Embassy Suites Hotels, quickly advancing to Assistant General Manager of a 316-suite property in the D.C. area.
During this time, Channing co-founded a real estate investment company with two fellow Howard graduates. The firm specialized in buying, renovating, managing, and selling properties throughout Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. This hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of real estate from every angle—ownership, development, and management—laying the foundation for his long-term success in the industry.
After relocating to Florida, Channing was drawn to the picturesque community of Windermere, where he began focusing on both residential and commercial real estate. Over the years, he has successfully sold numerous luxury homes, car lots, and even a 4,500-square-foot arena with an adjoining shopping center. His commercial work includes leasing more than 100,000 square feet of Class A office space across Central Florida and representing notable clients such as B.B. King’s Restaurant and Club at Pointe Orlando. His expertise extends to hotel sales, representing properties across Florida for international buyers. Channing’s professionalism and market insight have also earned him recognition as a resident real estate expert for Fox 35 Orlando and Central Florida News 13.
